Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what guidance the Government has issued to pensioners on financial products available to people accessing their defined contribution pension.

The government has launched Pension Wise, a service providing free, impartial guidance, to help people make informed and confident decisions about how they use their defined contribution pension savings in retirement. It is available online, via the telephone and face to face.

The guidance explains the options available for a consumer’s pension and helps them to explore those which could best suit their personal circumstances.
