Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, whether he has plans to reform the process for council tax banding appeals.
This question was answered on 11th July 2017
The Government has no plans to reform the process for council tax banding appeals. Taxpayers already have six months from becoming liable for council tax on a property to submit a proposal challenging the council tax band.
