Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many abortions were carried out at (a) NHS hospitals and (b) registered clinics in (i) Lancashire, (ii) Cumbria, (iii) Greater Manchester and (iv) Merseyside in 2018.

The following table shows the number of abortions performed in Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Merseyside in 2018 in independent sector clinics approved by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and National Health Service hospitals, residents and non-residents.
