Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 34 of the Defence Investment Plan, published on 30 June 2026, if he plans to publish the Defence Strategic Approach to AI.
This question was answered on 8th September 2026
The Defence Strategic Approach to Artificial Intelligence (AI) is currently being developed and will be finalised by the end of 2026. Decisions on implementation and any future publication arrangements will be considered as part of that process. Defence remains committed to ensuring that its approach to AI supports the outcomes set out in the Strategic Defence Review (SDR) and Defence Investment Plan (DIP).
