All Royal Fleet Auxiliary personnel are Civil Servants and are, therefore, included in the Ministry of Defence's (MOD) Civil Servant gender pay gap reporting.

Overall, as at 31 March 2018, the MOD's median civilian gender pay gap of 10.9% (down 3.7 percentage points from the previous year) and 0.09% for military personnel (down 0.13 percentage points), compares favourably with the UK's national gender median pay gap of 17.9%.

The gender pay gap continues to narrow and the MOD is committed to reducing it further as we continue to promote policies that help all individuals reach their potential.
