Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Prime Minister's written statement of 26 February 2020 on Integrated Review of Security, Defence, Development and Foreign Policy, if he will maintain the number of armed forces personnel at current levels for the next five years.

The Integrated Review is conducting a whole-scale reassessment of our foreign, defence, security and development policy. It is too early to discuss specific capabilities, but I can assure the hon. Member that this country will continue to have the world class Armed Forces that it needs and deserves.
