Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the answer of 17 April 2026 to Question 118753 on Muslim Council of Britain and further to Chapter 3 of the Ministerial Code, whether HM Government’s policy of non-engagement with the Muslim Council of Britain permits Ministers of the Crown to engage with the Muslim Council of Britain in a non-Ministerial capacity.

As set out in the Ministerial Code, Ministers are personally responsible for deciding how to act and conduct themselves, and for justifying their actions and conduct to Parliament and the public.
