Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment his Department has made of the implications for its policies of reported anticipated higher number of flu cases in the winter of 2021.

Public Health England will continue to monitor flu activity each week and identify any unexpected changes. We are delivering an expanded flu vaccination programme this winter. This includes a continued offer of vaccination for 50 to 64 year olds and the children’s programme.
