Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the Answers of 4 June 2015 to Questions 192 and 193, whether his Department's director of communications is a Special Adviser or a civil servant.

The Chancellor’s Spokesperson and head of the Communications team is a civil servant. The full list of Government Special Advisers will be published in due course.
