The Government has committed over £1.2 billion to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping over the spending review period to 2019-20. The rough sleeping and homelessness programmes referenced have closed for new applications. They are delivering projects to end rough sleeping and reduce homelessness right across the country.

The Government announced on 4 September that it would provide a further £422 million to tackle rough sleeping and homelessness in 2020-21, in addition to the funding local authorities receive through the Local Government Finance settlement, an increase of 13 per cent in real terms. Further details on future funds will be announced in due course.
