Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether people over 40 years old are required to wait up to 12 weeks for their second covid-19 vaccine.

This question was answered on 14th July 2021

Since June 2021, second doses for all over 40 year olds have been administered on an eight-week interval after their first dose. All over 40 year olds who received a first dose by mid-May will be offered a second dose by 19 July.
