Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment her Department has made of the potential merits of mandatory contracts for milk supply contracts; and if she will make a statement.

The Government has made clear that it intends to introduce mandatory written contracts in the dairy sector and will consult on proposals after the UK leaves the EU.
