Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the cost to the armed forces is of a round of munition of (a) M31A1 rockets, (b) 5.56mm and (c) 7.76mm.
This question was answered on 7th July 2022
I am withholding the unit costs for the M31A1 rocket and 5.56mm round as their disclosure may prejudice commercial interests. The 7.76mm round is currently not in service and therefore not procured for use by the UK Armed Forces.
