Question to the Department for Education:
To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how many pupil referral units have converted to academy status since 2013.
This question was answered on 22nd March 2016
As at 15 March 2016, 44 Pupil Referral Units have converted to academy status since 2013. These include both, converter and sponsored academy status. All of these academies are currently open.
