Airports: National Policy Statements

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when he will publish a new Airports National Policy Statement.

The Court of Appeal has ruled that the designation of the Airports National Policy?Statement?has?no legal effect unless and until this Government carries out a review.
The Government will need time to consider the judgment carefully.?At this stage the?Government will not be able to make any further?comment?beyond what was set out in the Written Statement?on 27 February from the Secretary of State for Transport. The Department is currently focused on the response to Covid-19.
