Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, when he expects Operation Bute to be concluded; and if he will make a statement.
This question was answered on 4th June 2015
The Royal Military Police made contact with the German authorities on three occasions in 2014 and five in 2015. In addition they met with the German authorities in 2012 and 2013 to discuss the case. The table below provides dates of the contacts with the German authorities in 2014 and 2015:

As the investigation is still under way it would not be helpful to speculate on when it might conclude. However Katrice’s family is being kept informed of any developments.
