Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will bring forward legislative proposals to make it a specific offence to discriminate against and abuse members of the armed forces.

Any offence motivated by hate or prejudice against the Armed Forces is very concerning, and the courts are already fully empowered to take such factors into account when deciding on the appropriate sentence.
