Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what assessment he has made of the new out of court disposal framework being piloted in West Yorkshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire; and if he will make a statement.
This question was answered on 30th June 2015
The pilot commenced on 3 November 2014 and is due to run until 31 October 2015. The Ministry of Justice has appointed a consortium of Ipsos MORI and Sheffield Hallam University to conduct an evaluation of the pilot. The consortium is due to report back in early 2016. The Government will make an assessment of the pilot once it has received the final evaluation report from the consortium.
