Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will publish all emails from the Department's Permanent Secretary to departmental staff informing them of the appointment of a new Chancellor.

On the appointment of a new Secretary of State, the Permanent Secretary will generally inform staff of the appointment, noting the continuation of the department’s key business – while outlining any changes to portfolios or responsibilities.

Information on all departments’ ministerial appointments, and portfolios, is already available in the public domain.
