Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions his Department has had with (a) the Royal College of Surgeons and (b) other stakeholders on the classification of menstrual health conditions.

There have been no specific discussions. However, menstrual health and gynaecological conditions, including heavy menstrual bleeding, are a priority within the Women’s Health Strategy. The Strategy was published on 20 July 2022 and is available at the following link:
