The Department worked closely with UKTI, the industry and the devolved regions to develop the UK Exports Action Plan, which we launched in October 2013. This Plan identified a number of target markets. The devolved regions are involved in identifying priority markets through our Exports Sector Groups for red meat, poultry and dairy. We have opened over 600 new markets for animal and animal products since 2010, and over 130 since the Action Plan was launched.
