Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many (a) Jackal and (b) Foxhound patrol vehicles were in use by the Army in each of the last six years.

The numbers of Jackal reconnaissance and Foxhound protected patrol vehicles in use with the Army in each of the last six years are shown in the table below.

Fleet size numbers are assessed as at 1 April each year. There were 61 Jackals damaged beyond economic repair between 1 April 2011 and 31 March.
