Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether his Department has pursued damages from (a) General Dynamics Land Systems UK and (b) General Dynamics Corporation in relation to the delivery of the AJAX Armoured Fighting Vehicle.

Dealings between General Dynamics Land Systems UK and the Ministry of Defence (MOD) on the Ajax contract are commercially sensitive. The MOD applies contractual incentives and remedies when appropriate to do so.

The MOD has no direct contractual relationship with General Dynamics Corporation.
