Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps he plans to take to assess the resilience of Great Western Railway as a result of the recent closures of Paddington station.

Officials and ministers meet train operators and Network Rail regularly to discuss rail performance. Resilience of the rail network infrastructure is a matter for Network Rail.
