To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 4 July 2022 to Question 27714 on Railways: Contracts, by when his Department plans to conclude the development of the Passenger Service Contracts.

We are planning a new round of market engagement after we have considered responses to the recent consultation on railway reform legislation.
