On 5 May 2022, a meeting was held with suppliers, wholesalers and representatives from community pharmacy to discuss the availability of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) products and how supply could be improved. A further meeting took place on 4 July 2022 to discuss progress and any new supply issues arising. The Department continues to engage with HRT suppliers to expedite resupply dates of disrupted products, maintain supply and prevent future shortages.
