Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what recent assessment he has made of the potential merits of bringing forward legislative proposals to prohibit pavement parking.

We have been carefully considering the 15,000 responses to our recent pavement parking consultation and the results will inform future policy decisions. We will publish the consultation response in the autumn.
