There are 128,550 Cadets and 28,000 Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAV) at over 275 locations in the United Kingdom.

There have been no Court Martial hearings against commissioned CFAV (some of whom are subject to Service Law) in the last five years. Cadets and other CFAV are not subject to Service Law.

Disclosure and Barring Service checks are carried out on all CFAV to ensure their suitability for working with children.

Information on civilian criminal convictions is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
