It is estimated that during the RMT strikes on 21, 23, 25 June and 27 July, passenger service trains ran at around 20 per cent of normal services, with surrounding days impacted to varying degrees. It is estimated that fare revenues in Department for Transport train operating companies reduced by around £65million in the week commencing 20 June and £15million in the days surrounding 27 July.
