The Chief of the General Staff has made maximising talent a priority and will be launching a change programme which aims to ensure that talent is able to thrive, regardless of ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. There are a number of pieces of work supporting this programme including the completion of a sexual harassment survey and the establishment of a team to conduct a study into bullying, harassment and discrimination within the Army. This study is under way and is due to report in the summer. The Army will be discussing the results and the way ahead with the Service Complaints Commissioner.

The Department is currently considering the sexual harassment survey results. I will write to the hon. Member with more information in due course.
