Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the potential effect of the introduction of Operational MGS Employment Contracts on levels of security at UK military bases.
This question was answered on 13th September 2021
During the introduction of the Operational MGS Employment Contract, the ability to sustain unarmed guarding tasks as a result of staff recruitment and retention risks was assessed. Levels of security at UK military bases are unaffected.
