Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent discussions he has had with the European Commission on the reinstatement of the Aggregate Credit Levy Scheme; and if he will make a statement.
Treasury Ministers and officials have meetings with a wide variety of organisations in the public and private sectors as part of the process of policy development and delivery.
The previous Coalition government committed to make the case to the Commission to reinstate the Aggregates Levy Credit Scheme in Northern Ireland.
Discussions with representatives of the aggregates industry in Northern Ireland are ongoing.
