Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, if he will take steps to remove the power of veto held by the Lord Chief Justice on the Lord Chancellor's power to remove circuit and district judges.
This question was answered on 7th July 2015
There are no plans to take such steps.
