Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, for what reason the RAF stopped undertaking selection and suitability interviews between December 2020 and March 2021.
This question was answered on 7th September 2022
The suitability interview was paused as a trial to allow the Royal Air Force to determine if all candidates could progress through the initial recruitment process more efficiently following the disruption to recruiting due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
