Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent assessment he has made of the strength of the UK economy.

The economy grew by 0.8% in Q1, faster than the United States, France, Germany and Italy.
Unemployment is at a near 50-year low of 3.8% for the three months to June, with the total number of pay rolled employees consistently above pre-pandemic levels.
