As our understanding of the virus increases, the Government continues to review the emerging evidence. We will continue to listen to our medical advisers on the level of clinical risk the virus presents to different groups of people at different points in time.

The next review will take place the week commencing 15 June 2020. As part of this, we will consider the next steps for shielding beyond 30 June. The Government will continue to ensure support is available for those who need it for as long as people are advised to follow shielding guidance.
