Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate she has made of the number of (a) maternity exemption certificates issued and (b) fines issued due to a person failing to pay for a prescription without a valid maternity exemption certificate in Slough in each of the last five years.

The following table shows the number of maternity exemption certificates issued between 2019 and 2023 to date in Slough as well as the number of fines issued due to a person failing to pay for a prescription without a valid maternity exemption certificate in Slough in the same period:
