Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to paragraph 1.2.3.2 of Schedule 2 to the Compass contract for the accommodation of asylum seekers, if she will publish a copy of the contractor's arrangements for ensuring that its staff, volunteers and sub-contractors who are likely to have direct contact with service users are subject to criminal records bureau and disclose checks prior to any such contracts for each such contractor in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The provisions for Personnel and Employment arrangements are detailed in Clause 9 of the Contract Terms and Conditions. It is the responsibility of the COMPASS providers to ensure that all staff recruitment meets these required contractual standards.
