The government is committed to intensive engagement with the devolved administrations on all areas of EU exit, including common frameworks. The First Secretary of State has written to the First Minister of Wales, Deputy First Minister of Scotland and senior officials have has written to the interim Head of the Civil Service in the Northern Ireland Executive Office, to instigate this process. Discussions will seek to build an understanding of areas that will and will not require a common framework. Both Ministerial and official meetings will take place during the summer.
