Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what guidance her Department has issued on the consultation process in the planning system; and what assessment she has made of the potential impact of that guidance on the (a) efficiency and (b) cost of the planning application process.

Guidance on consultation within the planning application process is set out in the relevant planning practice guidance.
