Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether she has had discussions with anti-poverty campaigners on strengthening the Decent Homes Standard for social housing.

My Department engages a wide range of external stakeholders, including campaigners, on issues facing social housing tenants.

The government intends to consult this year on a reformed Decent Homes Standard for the social and private rented sectors.
