Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, pursuant to the Answer of 18 October 2016 to Question 47961, how much of the £981,514 in arrears identified by HM Revenue and Customs between 1 April 2014 and 31 March 2016 was subsequently paid to the social care workers affected.

HM Revenue and Customs maintains data on arrears recovered in all cases – and actively pursues recovery through the civil courts where this is not paid.

Due the way this data is maintained, providing this figure would incur disproportionate costs.
