Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what qualifications are required for an asylum caseworker to be employed by her Department.

Staff employed to make asylum decisions are required to have a minimum educational requirement of 2 GCE A Level passes A-C and 5 GCSE passes including Mathematics and English.
