Decisions about temporary release are taken after careful consideration of all of the relevant information available, including but not restricted to information about the impact upon the victim or their family, and it is not possible to conclude definitively that any one piece of information determined the outcome. Nor is it possible, except at disproportionate cost, to determine the number of occasions where representations have been made by the families of the victims in the cases referred to in Question 48562.
