Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what assessment she has made of the effectiveness of the Government's five point plan for tourism in achieving its aims.

The Prime Minister’s Tourism Action Plan reaffirms this Government's commitment to growing the industry right across the UK. Progress is already being made, with the South East, South West, West Midlands and North East seeing international visits and spend grow at a faster rate than London

However, there is more to be done in order to ensure that the benefits of tourism are shared across all cities, regions and nations up and down the UK and we will be working hard to make this happen.
