Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what steps she is taking to improve resettlement activity at HM Prison Littlehey.

We are committed to helping offenders turn their lives around and to reducing reoffending. We know that providing advice and support to prisoners before release can help them settle back into the community on release and reduce the likelihood of their committing further crimes. At HMP Littlehey prisoners’ resettlement needs are identified and they have access to help finding suitable accommodation on release, setting up a bank account and finding employment.
