Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether any IP within the E-7 Wedgetail has been transferred to the UK as part of the contract with STS Aviation Group.
This question was answered on 4th June 2020
The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for the E-7 Wedgetail aircraft remain the property of the contractor and therefore the management of Intellectual Property within this contact is a matter between Boeing and STS Aviation Group. The UK Ministry of Defence does, however, have the right to use such IPR in the provision of in-service support to the fleet.
