Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, how many additional new homes he estimates will be built as a result of the Home Building Fund in each financial year from 2016-17 to 2019-20.

The Home Building Fund is made up of £1 billion for short term loans and £2 billion for long-term loans.
The £2 billion of funding for infrastructure is expected to unlock a pipeline of up to 200,000 homes over the longer term. The £1 billion of funding for short term loans is estimated to support over 20,000 new homes by 2019-20.
