Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, when covid-19 testing will be made available to all children under the age of five who have symptoms of covid-19.

Since 22 July, anyone with symptoms can ask for a test through the National Health Service website, whatever their age. Testing was extended to include symptomatic children under the age of five in England and Wales on 28 May, followed by Northern Ireland on 16 July and Scotland on 22 July.
