Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to paragraph 2.1 of the Spending Review and Autumn Statement 2015, whether his Department plans to reduce the number of personnel within 3 Commando Brigade; and if he will make a statement.

The Government has no current plans to reduce the number of personnel within 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines, which will continue to provide part of our high readiness forces with its world-class amphibious and Arctic warfare capabilities.
